I'd like to change it and looking for ideas for quick, easy shortcuts other people use. My question is, what's your shortcut of choice to alternate between input languages?

The second one is just too awkward and isn't suitable for a shortcut I perform many times a day (whenever I need to write in my native language, which applies to using chat apps and perform web searches etc.), while ^ + Space is OK but it's a shortcut I use daily in IntelliJ Idea to perform code completion, and I don't want to switch it as I'm pretty used to it and find it extremely convenient. I'm used to change the keyboard language by pressing Left Alt + Left Shift (my native language is Hebrew, so I must have both English and Hebrew input languages) and MacOS's default shortcut to toggle between input languages is ^ + Space / ^ + Opt + Space. I just moved to MacOS after two decades of Windows/Linux usage, and while I got used to most of the changes, there's one thing that still bothers me.
